About Us

Dancefrica Ghana is a supporting organization of Dancefrica, established in 2013 as a 501c3 non-profit organization in the US by co-founder Isaac Allotey, known as the African Lion. This initiative was born from his vision to support the youth in Ghana and preserve the nation’s dance culture for future generations. In September 2023, the Dancefrica Ghana Institute of the Arts marked its grand opening. The studio offers one on one training and group classes in Traditional African dance, Freestyle, Hip Hop and African Contemporary, Afro Pop and HighLife dance styles.

Dancefrica Ghana aims to embark on a global tour with these children, sharing the rich Ghanaian culture and promoting the organization’s message of peace and unity worldwide.
